BV14 - TRIUMPH OVER TROUBLE

In the words of Jesus, Paul, James, John, Nahum and whoever wrote Job "In this world you will have trouble" and "man is born to trouble". It is a frequent theme in scripture. Yet every mention of it is coupled with promises of an astonishing peace that is possible in spite of it. A triumph.

And obviously not success can be called a triumph without facing a worthy adversary. Cancer is such an adversary causing kaleidoscope of TROUBLES. Yet triumph is possible. And if that is possible then triumph over so many other troubles in life is equally possible. You are not alone in experiencing trouble and not alone in dealing with it - if you know where to look and how.

We have been talking about that in the past 13 BV blogs. You have something many others lack : the desperation to actually pay attention to the breadth and depth of the trouble you are in. Not just a physical malady but something that can poison every area of you life with haunting "What ifs ....." .

It takes enough desperation to learn God's victorious promises and put them to the test -and to do it often enough to develop spiritual muscle = PEE. When you have all three, desperation, promises and PEE you will have the power and  the hopeful confidence that Jesus will answer your prayers even though you don't know just when or how . With that confidence you can live in wondrous anticipation HIs coming actions and breathless expectation of just what those might be.  Whoa ! And the PEACE  THAT PASSES ALL UNDERSTANDING that comes with it: His Kingdom Coming on Earth as it is in Heaven -- to you !
