Treatment always disguises itself as the good, right and courageous thing to do - which it may be. But BEWARE that it can steal the center stage of your life. It can become your primary hope and focus and by doing so take control and make UNCERTAINTY permanent. In so doing it makes every other plan and dream tenuous.
Only keeping focus on what God has planned for today, this week and this month regains control, provides purpose and ultimately satisfaction and joy. Only starting and continuing each day asking God for what He has in mind and watching to see what that is will wrestle control away from the uncertainties of treatment.
"Is it working?" is one of the most destructive uncertainties which can only be overcome by continually reaffirming " God has a plan and purpose for me today which is good and independent of whether treatment is working or not----and He has a secure and adventurous plan for me in His kingdom in Heaven if and when treatment fails.
To believe that you need to have Personal Experiential Evidence (PEE) that God keeps His promises. The only way to get that is by inviting Him over and over again into the minutia of you life and then watching for Him to show up. Start accruing your evidence now and experience the ever growing power of God in your life.
When you accrue enough PEE you will be free from the uncertainties of doctors, medicines and cancer. Sure you can still hope the treatment will work and the cancer will die, but you won't need it to because you have become so certain that God's plans are trustworthy.
