It is great to get an answer to our prayers but sometimes the answer is not what we expect or even want. When the answer is hard or risky we wonder if it is really from God --- and sort of hope it isn't. So how do we find out?

We have to WALK INTO the answer we perceive - into GOD'S LEADING. And then we must keep listening for redirection. I am sure God is thrilled that we are trying to follow HIs lead even if we get it wrong. In which case He will redirect us with a whisper, a shout, a circumstance,or a closed door.

Walking into HIs leading and discovering it's goodness is the only way to complete the prayer experiment -and to prove that God is listening and acting on our behalf. It is the only way to gather PEE that is solid gold.

Jesus promises His disciples "come to me you who are weary and burdened and I will give you rest, ...learn from me...  and you will find rest for your souls. (Math 8:28) He tells us " In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.” Each of us can validate the truth of that promise by taking the risk of walking into our perception of His leading. The only question is where does the courage to take that risk come from?

Scripture tells our heads that is the right thing to do, but only the past Personal Experiential Evidence we have gathered informs our hearts that it will be the best and safest thing to do.PEE helps us wait and helps us trust God the next time even if we don't get what we want sometimes. It is PEE that enables us to accept whatever answer we get without second guessing God - without manipulating the answer to suit our own agenda,

Timothy Keller points out " Trouble can take anything away from you -  except God. Therefore, if God is to you a greater safety, a deeper security, and a more powerful hope than anything else in the world you will fear NO trouble. Depending on God when in trouble is a spiritual skill that can be learned only in trouble....and the process is long . But the fruit is a spiritual poise that no trouble can dislodge!!!

Every trouble is an opportunity for spiritual exercise. That is why James 1:2 begins with "Count it pure joy my brothers when you face trials of many builds perseverance ..." = spiritual poise . The Windrunners had it.. They prayed, listened, watched, waited, walked and proved to themselves that Jesus is who He says He is and He keeps His promises: to listen and intercede lovingly on our behalf.

Those are the 4 step to Victory but there are more steps if you want to remain victorious. See step 5 which is both critical and fun.
